Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission Formatting and Citation Standards

Thank you for considering the Journal of Emerging Research in IT for your manuscript submission. Please follow these guidelines to ensure your paper meets our formatting and bibliographic standards:

  • Manuscript Format: Submit your paper as a Word or PDF document, formatted with 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, and 2.5 cm margins all around.

  • Title Page: Include a separate title page with the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, and contact information. The manuscript itself should be anonymized for peer review.

  • Abstract: Provide a structured abstract of no more than 300 words summarizing the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

  • Sections: Use clear headings such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  • References: Follow the IEEE citation style for references, with in-text citations numbered sequentially in square brackets [1], and a corresponding numbered reference list at the end of the paper.

  • Tables and Figures: Include all tables and figures within the manuscript file, numbered and titled consecutively.

  • Supplementary Material: Include datasets or software code as separate files, if applicable.

Research Articles

This section publishes original, peer-reviewed research papers in all areas of Information Technology, including but not limited to software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence, and computer networks. Submissions must demonstrate clear methodology and contribute novel findings to the field.

Technical Reports & Case Studies

This section includes technical reports and real-world case studies from industry and academia. Submissions should focus on practical applications, system implementations, security audits, or performance evaluations in the field of Information Technology. While not always requiring novel theoretical contributions, submissions must be well-documented and relevant to the IT community.

Review & Survey Articles

This section publishes comprehensive review and survey articles that critically summarize existing research in Information Technology. Submissions should provide thorough literature analysis, identify trends, challenges, and future directions. All articles undergo full peer review to ensure quality and scholarly contribution.
